38th Annual Conference

You are invited to the 38th Annual Conference of the Alabama Council of Community Mental Health Boards which will be held in Birmingham, AL on May 9-10, 2012.

We expect approximately 800-900 participants and more than 60 exhibitors and sponsors at the statewide mental health conference. There will be up to 10 CE credits available for Social Workers, Professional Counselors, Nurses, etc., that attend the conference.

The Alabama Council of Community Mental Health Boards invites your company or organization to participate in the years 38th Annual Conference and Tradeshow through our exhibit format and Corporate Sponsorship. This year's Conference will be held on Wednesday and Thursday, May 9-10, 2012, in the East Meeting Rooms of the Birmingham-Jefferson Civic Center in Birmingham, Alabama.

Last year's attendance was more than 800 in participants and exhibitors/sponsors. We are expecting another successful conference in 2012. There were more than 60 exhibitors/sponsors who participated in the 2011 conference. We believe this will be an excellent opportunity for your organization or company to meet and talk with the decision-makers of each mental health agency in the State of Alabama. You may also take the 22nd Street exit (125B). At the bottom of the ramp for the 22^nd Street exit you may take either of the following routes:

Option One --Take a right on to 22nd Street. Go to the first light and take a right on to 8th Avenue. Go one block and take right on to Richard Arrington Jr. Blvd North. Go under the interstate. The Sheraton Birmingham Hotel and Medical Forum are on your right, Exhibition Halls and Meeting Rooms are on your left.

Option Two –-Go straight at the bottom of the ramp. Proceed one block to 23rd street. Take a left, go under the interstate and proceed one block to Richard Arrington Jr. Blvd North. and take a left.

From Atlanta and Gadsden:

Take 11th Avenue exit from I-59/20 west (126A – not on map). Stay to right on ramp and circle to the end of the ramp at 25th Street. Take right on to 25th Street go one block, then take a right on to Richard Arrington Jr. Blvd North. Go three blocks.

Take 22nd Street exit from I-20/59 west (125) At bottom of ramp go straight across 22^nd Street. At the next intersection take a right on to Richard Arrington Jr. Blvd North. The Sheraton Birmingham Hotel and Medical Forum are on your right and the Arena, Concert Hall, Exhibition Halls and Meeting Rooms are on your left.

From US Hwy 280 - Elton B Stephens Expressway:
Take Carraway Blvd. exit. At the second light take left on to Richard Arrington Jr. Blvd North. Go four blocks.
